Largo, MD – June, 2026 – National CyberWatch Center (NCC) is pleased to announce the release of over 70 of its “CyberWatch Stacked Credential Scholarships” designed to help students and professionals gain the skills and credentials needed to succeed in today's rapidly growing cybersecurity workforce, totaling more than $300,000.
After the success of NCC’s earlier scholarship initiative, this second round supports both first-time credential-seeking and stacking additional credentials for those who previously attained a credential supported by a scholarship award. These funds provide pathways that align with employer demand and national workforce development priorities.
The CyberWatch Stacked Credential Scholarship program, in partnership with ISACA, aims to increase access to cybersecurity education, reduce financial barriers to training, and create opportunities for individuals pursuing careers in cybersecurity and related technology fields.
"These scholarships represent an investment in the future cybersecurity workforce," said Dr. David Tobey, Executive Director & Principal Investigator National CyberWatch Center, "By supporting students as they earn valuable credentials, we are helping to build a stronger talent pipeline while creating opportunities for career advancement."
The scholarships are available through participating institutions and programs within the National CyberWatch Center network. Eligible applicants will have access to educational pathways that combine academic learning with industry-recognized credentials.
The announcement comes at a critical time as organizations across the nation continue to face increasing demand for cybersecurity professionals.
