Virtual & National Events

3CS is a unique forum for cutting-edge dialogues, evidence-based practices, and demonstrations of the techniques and tools for raising cybersecurity capability maturity. Foremost, this includes developing and showcasing thought leadership from students, faculty, professionals, and practitioners from associated fields in how to mature and advance cybersecurity capabilities and careers.



2026 3CS Virtual (3CSv) Conference Series

What: Each 3CSv workshop is an engaging dialogue among the session attendees on topics that are new or controversial--providing a more interactive, virtual forum - different from most virtual conferences where presenters simply talk at the participants.

2026 National Cybersecurity Capabilities and
Career Summit (3CS)

What: The National Cybersecurity Capabilities and Career Summit (3CS) is a two-part event with an invitation-only National Cybersecurity Capabilities and Careers Summit (3CS) Session Proposal Development Workshop for authors of session proposals (dialogues, evidence-based practices, demonstrations) in July 2025, followed by the public event in August. For both the national and regional events, we offer travel and participant support for accepted session ideas.

Penn State Schuylkil, NCSA Student Chapter

Dr. Joseph Squillace and his students received a student chapter travel stipend (hotel, flight/miles) to attend our Mid-Atlantic Cybersecurity Capabilities and Careers Symposium (MA3CS) at Prince George Community College in Largo, MD. If your are a faculty or a student who is interested in presenting at one of our regional or national conferences, contact us at info@cyberstudents.org. Student Chapters and their faculty will have 1st priority for the travel stipends. 



Why Symposia?

Symposia is the plural form of symposium.  Each 3CS includes a symposium in each of the five areas below.
